Q: Do I have morning or afternoon rehearsal?
A: Only middle school students (6, 7, 8th grades) come before and after school
Q: When is morning/afternoon rehearsal?
A: Mornings: 7:00 - 7:45am. Afternoons: 2:15 - 3:00pm
Q: What grades go on trips?
A: Only middle school.
Do trips cost anything?
A: Yes! That's why we do fundraisers! You can pay for your whole trip every year by doing the fundraisers.
Q: Do I have to do a fundraiser?
A: If you are in middle school: no. You can pay outright for the entire cost or split between fundraisers and pay some out of pocket cost.

Q: What is an "excused" rehearsal?
A: There are few excused absences...
1. You are absent from school and it says "sick" online. "Vacation" is unexcused.
2. Doctor's note
3. Family emergency such as a funeral
4. Religious holiday
Q: What happens when I reach my limit of "unexcused" absences?
A: You have 4 unexcused rehearsals per ensemble. If you have 5, you are no longer part of that ensemble. Keep track of your absences!
Q: Can I go to Six Flags if I didn't go to any other performances?
A: No. There are a certain number of required performances after school or at night that you need to attend and perform at in able to go
to Six Flags. The winter and spring concerts are part of this requirement.
Q: Can anyone go to Six Flags?
A: No. Just because you are in middle school band or choir does not necessarily mean you are automatically going to Six Flags.
Attendance and participation depends on: the amount of rehearsals you have missed, performance level, practice, responsibility,
GRADES (you MUST be passing ALL classes by a certain date and have only been on AP 1x this entire school year) and behavior.
Q: Where are the concerts?
A: Triton's auditorium in the evening at 7pm
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Winter concert: Middle school: BLUE POLO, TAN PANTS, dark shoe.
Elementary school: White top, black pants. Skirts and dresses are acceptable (4th and 5th grades)
Spring concert: Middle school: BLUE POLO, TAN PANTS, dark shoe.

Q: How can I wear my hair to a concert?
A: Away from your face for band or choir performances. Please keep jewelry and makeup to a minimum.
Q: What types of clothes / jewelry and shoes CAN I wear to the concert:
A. Wear shoes that you won't fall in and that you can stand in comfortably, small heel ok, open toe ok. Please use discretion and
responsibility: if you are standing, don't pick something uncomfortable.

- BLUE POLO - tucked in, 1 button buttoned, collar down
- TAN PANTS - any type of pant that covers your whole leg (khakis, chinos, tan jeans, dress pants, leggings, jeggings, stretch pants, yoga pants)
- SHOE: black dress shoe, mary jane, flat, black converse, black Addidas/Nike, any boot, open toe, small heel, sandal that goes around the ankle (not backless)
ACCEPTABLE for elementary school:
- Top: PLAIN top, button up, collared, t shirt, must have sleeve: cap sleeve, ruffle sleeve, short sleve or long.
- Sweaters that are white or black (but please remember: even though it may be December, the stage is HOT!).
- Pants: black dress pants, casual pants, yoga pants or leggings
- Dresses/skirts - some form of black and white
- SHOE: black dress shoe, mary jane, flat, black converse, black Addidas/Nike, any boot, open toe, small heel, sandal that goes around the ankle (not backless)
- Accessories: At winter concerts, elementary students are allowed to dress wearing "festive" accessories
- Jewelry: keep it to a minimum, has to be "silent"
- Hair / Makeup:
- Hair: down or back. Please avoid anything that would tempt you to touch your face or move it from your face at any time.
- Makeup: less is more. Colors that look "natural", not RED + BLACK (see below)
- Accessories, hair, and makeup all pertain to both females and males
NOT ACCEPTABLE
- Top: NO logos, labels, colors, stripes, designs...etc. No LOW cut shirts, belly shirts, tube tops, spaghetti straps, or tank tops.
- Pants: See-through pants.
- Shoe: High heels, flip flops, backless sandal, backless shoe
- Jewelry: anything that makes a lot of noise
- Ties & scarves: Not permitted for middle school. Permitted for elementary school (keep in mind the stage is hot).
- Hair / Makeup
- Hair down that would tempt you to touch your face or move it from your face often (frequently moving it to see).
- Makeup: dark or bright colors that do not look "natural", avoid RED lipstick and blush (there are bright lights on your face that will make RED look clownish), avoid heavy BLACK eyeliner (there are bright lights on your face that will make thick BLACK lines look RACCOONish)
- Accessories, hair, and makeup all pertain to both females and males
